WE WENT TO
THE DAYS OF '47 POPS CONCERT

ON JULY 8TH,
WHAT A GREAT EVENT.


Even Sterling Poulson was there to kick the festivities off.

Even the Gundersons (top left) were there to cheer on the Choral Arts Society of Utah and especially Grandpa Gunderson and Robert Gunderson.





This was the only picture I was able to take of the choral group and the orchestra. Sorry, pictures were not allowed during the performance. You will just have to imagine what it all looked like and sounded like.

However

I did find a file copy of the choir

for those of you that
have no imagination.

During intermission we walked to the second tier balcony and was able to
take this picture of the beautiful glass art work in the lobby
(The Olympic Tower, by renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly).
It is very strange looking but very intriguing, it kind of reminds me of what
Medusa must look like.
