GOING TO TUACAHN
IT IS A GREAT TRADITION

And of course
Ursula is up to her normal nasty tricks.
Did you know she is King Triton's sister?
I never picked that up in the movie.

Poor Eric finds it hard to guess Ariel's name, but with a little help from Sebastian he succeeds.
The kiss to end Ariel's nightmare was that close, however Jetsam and Flotsam spoil the deed. Darn.

One of the highlights of the play was how they use a wall of water (stretching from the left side to the right side) to project images on for the audience to see.

In the following scene you can see a large fish swimming around toward the top and a giant jelly fish in the middle, they are just projections. If you look closely you will see a white line on the stage floor, that is where the line of water hits the stage floor. By the way, there is truly lots of water in this play, a natural for the Tuacahn Amphitheatre.

All in all, this is a very well conceived play. Little Mermaid along with last years Tarzan puts Disney on the top of my list of plays that are a must see.

Next year the plays will be: The Wizard of Oz, HairSpray, and Legally Blond. Don't you think they should put the Wizard of Oz and Wicked together on alternate nights? I'm just putting that thought out there.
