25 RANDOM THINGS
1. I became an aunt 12 days before my 4th birthday.
2. I was the editor of the Rixida at Ricks College.
3. I look for patterns in things such as the same letters in annual or in my name (almost). Jay was born in Colorado Springs in the fall and I was born in Idaho Falls in the spring.
4. I was the first runner-up to Miss Ricks (just because Toni could sing opera and I had sewing for a talent; what were they thinking?)
5. I'm thinking of making a collage of all the tall buildings I've been to such as the Sears Tower, Eiffel Tower, Space Needle, Empire State Building, Washington Monument.
6. I like to visit the graves of dead presidents. Actually I think cemeteries are interesting.
7. I also take pictures of windows. I don't know why, I just do.
8. Some teachers at work think I can fix computers when I'm just really good at turning them off and rebooting them.
9. I was going to be a history teacher when I started at Ricks but changed to Elementary Ed because I think most subjects are interesting.
10. I like going to classes and learning things but I don't like writing papers!
11. One of my favorite foods is peeps. However they are not as good as they used to be.
12. I do not like the cold weather in Idaho.
13. I got to do baptisms for the dead when I was 8. Then when I was 12 they changed the age to 12 so I got to go to the temple for a longer time than most people.
14. When I was at Ricks I took voice lessons because the teacher was doing a project on whether she could teach tone deaf people to sing and I qualified. I still do not sing.
15. In my previous life I was an artist but that talent has been taken from me so now I just enjoy it.
16. I'm a news junkie. I read the newspaper and watch the news.
17. I'm having a hard time deciding where to put pictures in my new home so I have been here 7 months and no paintings are on the walls. I like impressionist paintings but I also have other collections.
18. I once wrote a letter to the editor but strange people contacted me so I've been afraid to do it again.
19. I worked summers during college for a drycleaner so I very seldom iron anything.
20. I was a volunteer for the Winter Olympics and I still wear my coat because it's the warmest one I own. I didn't get my name on the wall because I wasn't a real volunteer.
21. When I was senior in high school I rode my bike from Idaho Falls to Pocatello (50 miles) to watch a football game.
22. In high school I usually was on the stage crew. A couple of times I danced but only because they were hard up.
23. I like to be right. I don't argue just debate at least that's the story I tell.
24. I went on Trek 2 times. Usually when I go to Girls' camp it rains. 4-H camp too. I know how to dance in the rain.
25. I used to volunteer (PTA, Girl Scouts, 4-H) but now I teach school and I'm too tired.
